Privacy Policy

  • 1. Personal information protection management

    Our company recognizes the importance of protecting personal information, and we strive to properly protect personal information.
    For that purpose, we have developed a personal information protection management system with regard to personal information, and we both maintain and make continuous improvements to this system.

  • 2. The handling of personal information

    When handling personal information, we verify the purpose for handling it, and we handle it only within the scope of our company’s business operations, doing so in a legal and equitable manner.

  • 3. Using and sharing personal information

    The usage and sharing of personal information we obtain is done under strict management with the greatest care, and information is not shared with any third party without the consent of the person whose information it is.
    We do not handle personal information in any manner exceeding the scope required for achieving the specific purpose for using it (i.e. we do not use information for any other purposes), and we take precautions to ensure this is so.

  • 4. Safety precautions

    We have instituted technological and organizational safety precautions to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, and we strive to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, corruption, falsification, and leaking of personal information.

  • 5. Compliance with laws and ordinances

    Our company complies with all laws and ordinances regarding personal information as well as guidelines established by the government and other standards.

    Our company responds to all complaints and inquiries regarding the obtaining, handling, usage, and sharing of personal information as well as safety precautions.

Handling of Personal Information Intended for Disclosure

  • 2. Suimei INET Club News members — membership information
  • 3. Suimei Health Club
  • 4. Store — customer information
  • 5. Beauty salon — customer information

<Purpose of use:>

  • 1. Suimei Club — membership information
    Used for the direct mailing of the seasonal magazine published by our hotel as well as for accommodation services.
  • 2. Suimei INET Club News members — membership information
    Used for sending our electronic newsletter.
  • 3. Suimei Health Club
    Used for managing health club training records and for contacting someone in the case of an emergency.
  • 4. Store — customer information
    Used in order to send store merchandise ordered over the phone.
  • 5. Beauty salon — customer information
    Used to maintain records of a customer’s status and what courses a customer has received during visits.

<Method of disclosure:>

  • 1. Receiving a request for disclosure (items to confirm for “Disclosure Request Receipt Forms”)
    We send a “Disclosure Request Receipt Form” by email or fax and get a reply.
    • Name of customer
    • Confirmation of identity of customer or customer’s representative
    • Fee and collection method, if a processing fee is deemed necessary
    Basically, there is no fee involved. However, if the sending of documents with regard to correction or deletion is requested,
    a processing fee equaling the actual cost of sending the documents will be collected.
  • 2. If a customer refuses to allow personal information intended for disclosure to be disclosed, corrected, amended, deleted, used, or shared, we shall disclose in writing and without delay the relevant personal information intended for disclosure to the customer, with the exception of instances dictated by special procedures stipulated by law.
    In the case of correction, amendment, or deletion, we shall disclose in writing and without delay the relevant personal information intended for disclosure to the customer after it has been altered.
    If the customer refuses to allow the information to be used or shared, the fact that it is to be treated in such a manner shall be recorded in a “Personal Information Intended for Disclosure — Correction Result Notice” and sent to the customer.
